Review by hotel critic
As an art historian with a deep appreciation for Turkey's architectural heritage, Apart Hotel Hippodrome offered a unique blend of comfort and history during my New Year's visit. Located in the heart of the Old City of Istanbul, the hotel's affordable accommodation provided beautiful views of the Marmara Sea. The room service and housekeeping were impeccable, ensuring a pleasant stay. The breakfast area had a great view of the Bosphorus and Marmara Sea, while the complimentary 3 o'clock tea buffet added a delightful touch to the experience. The three-bedroom apartment, decorated with light colors, surpassed all expectations, truly beyond 5-star quality. The hotel manager exhibited traditional Turkish hospitality, offering helpful advice and making our short stay memorable.Being in a prime location, we were able to explore historical landmarks and local markets with ease. The proximity to the metro station and red bus tour further enhanced our experience in Istanbul. The paid shuttle service from the airport was convenient, and the restaurant on the rooftop offered delicious meals with sea views.Apart Hotel Hippodrome catered to both our cultural interests and desire for a comfortable stay. With its attentive service, modern amenities, and stunning views, it provided the perfect base for an enriching exploration of Istanbul's cultural tapestry.
